This may just be my favourite book in the series... not even kidding!

I am in love with this entire series and have not been disappointed by any of the books. There is a slight possibility that Beautiful Player was my absolute favourite in the series which is a hard decision to make. Who could possibly beat Bennett Ryan? I think it is time that you met Will Sumner!
I can completely relate to Hanna; she is a very introverted and an independent person. But where she has her experiments, I have my books. NERD LIFE RULES!!!
When her family become concerned with her “loneliness”, they convince her to contact Will who is her brothers best friend. But Hanna has fancied him since she was just 12 years old; this can only lead to enhancing her feelings, right? You sure won’t be disappointed by the chemistry between Hanna and Will. You could toast marshmallows on the pages of this book and I’m surprise that it didn’t go up in flames with all the hot and steaminess!
Will is just.. I don’t even know what to say about him. You can’t help but love him throughout the book because he would change everything that defines who he is at the time to be what Hanna deserves. Obviously like all relationships, they don’t communicate and Hanna just thinks that their relationship is just like Will’s casual flings. Stupid. Stupid. STUPID!
Along the way we get to see the whole gang again with Bennett, Chloe, Max & Sara making regular appearances. I was in tears over the sassy dialogue between the characters; especially Hanna & Will. There’s a whole lot of suspense, excitement and misunderstandings in Beautiful Player that will definitely make fans of the series VERY happy!
I will now sit patiently until I can get my hands on Beautiful Beginning. I’m in need of a wedding as soon as possible!!

Dear Will,
I'm a little nervous since this is the first letter I've written to a fictional character, but I thought I at least owed it to you to give it a shot.
Wow, I didn't think I'd love your book more than Beautiful Bastard, I mean come on, Bennett is a hard act to follow, but dayum Will . . . don't tell my husband, but I'm pretty sure I'd leave him in a hot second if you and I had a chance at working out. Not that I don't totally think you and Hanna are perfect for each other. Her blunt, no nonsense approach to sex plus your knowledge of how to please a woman makes for a perfect sexual relationship. The way you two explored each other's needs, pushed each other's limits . . . *shudder* so hot. And when you drew on her? Oh my god, I almost died. How such a simple gesture can be such a turn on I have no idea, but Christina Lauren really needs to start marketing Will Sumners temporary tattoos cause I would be all over that.
Speaking of Christina Lauren, you sure had balls letting those two beautiful ladies in your head. They had no problems showing how big of an ass you could be, but they also did an amazing job showing how you put yourself out there. You really opened yourself up to Hanna a few times only to have her stomp on your heart. It physically hurt to read those parts (see now if you were real I could totally give you a hug right now. A totally platonic, we're just friends hug. Wait, friends can still grab each other's ass right? Okay, is it hot in here, is someone screwing with the thermostat again?).
Anyways, so, um, yeah . . . I just wanted to say I loved everything about your book. Five big stars. It was hot as hell, emotional, had a great story, and kept me up `til all hours of the night so I could finish. And then when I did finish, I wanted to cry because I was, well, . . . finished. (I would like to point out that I'm usually way more eloquent than this, but you kind of make my brain turn to . . . okay, what's the word for that thing that's really mushy, oh yeah, mush. You make my brain turn to mush. God, I really need to quit drinking before noon.) So like I said five big stars. You are absolutely amazing. I wish I could tell all my friends to run out and buy your book but then I'd have to share and as my kindergarten teacher would tell you . . . I'm not much for sharing.
Well I think I should probably conclude my letter before I say anything really embarrassing, like . . . I've started hanging out by running trails and whispering "Will" to see if any of the hot guys will respond. Because that'd be totally crazy, `cause you're a fictional character. Ha, ha ha ha! That'd be ridiculous, ha ha! Okay my husband just heard me laughing and I'm pretty sure he's seconds from taking my laptop away. So to quickly recap, you're awesome, Hanna's great, you're super sexy, I want one of your tattoos and I don't look for you at local running trails. Yikes, here comes my husband, gotta go! I love you, Will!!!

Another Fun, Steamy Tale from Christina Lauren

I am 100% not embarrassed to say that I totally love this series of books. I enjoyed Beautiful Bastard, I absolutely loved Beautiful Stranger, and let's just say that I really, really liked Beautiful Player.
In this one the authors take kind of a different approach. In the first two books the characters get together and start getting it on ASAP. But in Beautiful Player we had to wait for it. And while I liked the waiting for it, I thought Will and Hanna were both great characters and I liked them both separately and together, I did think it took them a wee bit long to finally get together. And then, even when they were together, I kind of felt like there was a lot of hemming and hawing and I wanted to scream "YOU BOTH WANT TO BE TOGETHER, JUST BE TOGETHER." But, a lot of times that's how these types of romances work and I'm ok with that.
Like the other two books since one features a really strong main female character, something I love. Hanna is a little different than Chloe or Sarah, she's a doctoral student, not a fancy businesslady (can we make that word happen?), and she's in her early-twenties so she's a bit younger. But she's smart, she's confident, and she's funny, which for me is the perfect combination for a great female character.
Also like the other two books there's a steaming hot male lead. Bennet was all work all the time, Max was work but he had his love of art and rugby playing, but I think Will is the most developed of all the guys. Will works, with Max as we saw in Beautiful Stranger, but he also has a big friend group, including two special lady friends and hobbies (running and doing triathlons). Plus he's kind of a secret geek, something I love.
And Will and Hanna together are great. Even though I wanted them to get together sooner, I still loved watching them build a friendship and then something more. I especially loved how open and honest Hanna was with Will about her experience and curiosity, and how Will never judged Hanna for either of those things.
Bottom Line: I am so sad this series is coming to an end (although there's still the novella, Beautiful Beginning coming in November). Sarah and Max will always be my favorite (and we learn something great about them in this book), but I really enjoyed getting to know Hanna and Will and I appreciated that the authors are trying new things and I can't wait to see what they do next.
