About the Author
GAYLON BARROW, a Patriot is a retired Veteran of the U.S. Army with over thirty-three years of service. Sergeant First Class(retired) Barrow Is a graduate of the Army Institute for Professional Development, located at Fort Eutis, Virginia. He is a veteran of the Cold War, Era of Viet Nam, and Desert Storm. He is married with three children, has nine grandchildren with eight of them being granddaughters. His oldest son is also retired from the U. S. Army while his youngest son is a Colonel in the U.S. Army. As an author Mister Barrow writes of a territory that is real; The rivers are there, the creek, towns and the big woods. He has personally crossed the rivers and creeks and camped in the very woods he writes about. He is the best-selling author of 17 previous novels, published by Longhorn Publishing Inc. He lives with his wife and two dogs in the Piney woods of Northeast Texas.

Does not have info regarding the Barrow family in title!

I bought this book as a reference regarding the Barrows family in the title but the first line of the genealogy given states John Barrowe (born 1609 descended from Hugh Barrowe 1554?) as settling in Virginia. But Ancestry.com has a John Barrowe and his children as living in Massachusetts (b1609 Great Yarmouth Norfolk, England died 1692 Plymouth, Massachusetts. He is descended from Ralf Barrowe b 1/4/1575 Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, He is descended from Hugh Boroughe born about 1545 Redwood, Hertfordshire, England.
The book has no evidence tying the author's line to the names in the title of this book. It seems utterly useless to me!

It didn't help my genealogical research at all. They spent a hugh amount of the book relating the story of Bonnie and Clyde. I Knew all about them, saw it on tv recently. Would not recommend it to anyone.
